👋 Hello, I'm Tim.

I'm a professional innovator, serial entrepreneur, lecturer, and startup mentor.

In past lives, I studied physics + math, practiced tax law, backpacked around the world, studied music + art, volunteered for non-profits, designed & built run next-generation innovation infrastructure, and ran university innovation centers, and founded starts

I studied physics and math at the University of Virginia.

For ten years, I completed law degrees at Georgetown University Law Center and George Mason University School of Law and worked in tax law and international economics-based litigation in DC and NY.

For the subsequent 10 years, I founded a series of startups, ran and built startup programs and innovation hubs at Harvard and MIT, and began lecturing/speaking on innovation-related topics.

I've interspersed many mid-career years with long stents of international travel, founding side-projects/startups, volunteering & Board service, learning music and art, and designing/playing games.
